I have been a DSLR user for many years starting, off with the Canon 350d then moving to the Nikon D80 and now back to Canon with the 7D. The Canon 7D is not only a fantastic stills camera but also excellent for HD video. It offers a wide range of frame rates 23.976 (24p), 25, 30, 50 and 60 frames per second at full high definition (1080p). Due to the sensor size and inter-changeable lenses, a look very similar to 35mm film can be achieved. I offer a wide variety of video services shooting with HDSLR’s. Many of these are in association with other people including Greg Brand of Hybrid Studios. My own personal focus on film and video is in the following areas:
Film sound – Location recording and post-production audio.
Director of photography/Camera operator – Canon 7D and 5D mkII with a variety of prime and zoom lenses.
