Hello and welcome to my website
I am a freelance recording engineer, music producer and photographer based in West Sussex, UK
My professional qualifications included a diploma in music and a BA open university degree with a focus on music history, music technology and photography. I have experience in a variety of areas of the music and film industry. These include the following:
- Live and studio recording and production (including location sound for film)
- Composition and sound design for media
- Tuition in recording and production techniques
- Photography and video work using HDSLR’s (Canon 550d, 7d and 5d mkII)
As a classically-trained musician, I am an experienced score reader, and play violin, piano and various percussion. I am available for composition work for the purpose of corporate video, advertising and short films. More information can be found under the composition section along with some audio samples.
I provide a freelance tuition service suitable for individuals or groups wanting to learn more about music technology or the latest generation of high definition DSLR cameras. My tuition experience includes recording and mixing workshops for school students and teachers and one to one teaching sessions on recording video with the new breed of Canon HDSLR’s.
